Jeff Somaio, chef and photographer, started his career as an assistant to photographer Andréa Monteiro in São Paulo. In 2003 he moved to Spain and found one of his great passions: gastronomy. He worked in different areas in restaurants in Barcelona. At the same time he created publicity books, newspaper editorials and images for commercials at his studio in the picturesque Poble Sec neighborhood. In 2010, he returned to Brazil to develop the project Bistrô da Onça. He has also worked as a journalist for the American marketing agency Iconoculture from 2011 to 2015.
